For us, our People come first. A happy team makes miracles happen. So to support the wellbeing of our people, we are announcing a company-wide week off.
Pandemic has made us all realize the importance of mental health. We experienced collective suffering of mental health during lockdowns and severe waves of the COVID pandemic. People may be going through challenging circumstances on a personal level. Hence, we believe in providing a mental health break at certain intervals so that our employees can unwind. We are announcing a Mental Health Break from 25 September to 3 October 2021. Previously, we had announced the break from 25 December 2020 to 4 January 2021. Since the entire company is on break, this is a truly uninterrupted time off to unwind and return to work reinvigorated.
Khatabook had an eventful first three quarters of 2021 with Acquisition of Biz Analyst, Series C Funding, rolling out the first ESOP buyback plan, and growing the team by 100+ employees on top of the regular business activities. Our team has been working from home with no in-person social interactions with colleagues while delivering these significant milestones. This break is also our way of acknowledging everyone’s contribution and celebrating the successes.
As we resume work on 4 October 2021, we plan to reopen our office with optional attendance for fully vaccinated employees.
Employee well-being is an essential part of Khatabook’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and we will continue with our employee-centric practices.
